A passionate social history of The Sex Pistols; a ragged, raw band of working-class brings who left their legacy spitting out a caustic brand of rock & roll that became the rallying cry for disaffected youths in late 1970s England and defined the punk movement.
This summer, Cranbrook Art Museum is offering programming In conjunction with our current exhibition, Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Die: Punk Graphics, 1976-1986; exploring the unique visual language of the punk movement from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s through hundreds of its most memorable graphics–flyers, posters, albums, promotions, and zines.
