Explore the basics of basket weaving with CAA Sculpture graduate, Angela Eastman. We’ll look at examples of woven artwork in the museum, while reviewing traditional techniques for creating functional vessels. Students will leave this course with several woven pieces, with lots of options for individuality and creative design!

Each class runs for three Thursday sessions in the Art Lab, and are taught by experienced artists and designers from the Cranbrook Academy of Art.
$155 for all 3 classes / $130 for ArtMembers
Cost includes instruction and all materials. Open to ages 16 and up (teens with an adult).
