The organization of the exhibition LeRoy Foster: Solo Show has been an act of discovery by co-curators Mario Moore, Detroit artist; Laura Mott, Chief Curator, Cranbrook Art Museum; and Andrew Ruys de Perez, Jeanne and Ralph Graham Curatorial Fellow, Cranbrook Art Museum.
While Foster has always been well known and remembered among the art community in Detroit, this is the first significant representation of his work by a museum.
On Saturday, March 2, 2024, join us for a presentation in deSalle Auditorium that will include:

- A panel discussion with Mario Moore, Dr. Hubert Massey, Andrew Ruys de Perez, Jerome Watson, and Carole Morisseau, moderated by Laura Mott.
