You’re invited to join Cranbrook Art Museum and Cranbrook Institute of Science on Saturday, December 20, from 11am to 5pm for our annual Winter Solstice Celebration—enjoy two incredible experiences for the price of one! The solstice marks the official beginning of Winter. Traditionally, this was a time of celebration and renewal – marking a gradual but steady return of the light.
One ticket, two locations, endless discovery. A short, scenic walk links both institutions, letting you experience science, art, and nature in one magical winter day.
Tickets are $15 for Members (CAM or CIS) and $20 for non-members. Pre-registration is encouraged and closes Friday, December 19, at 3pm.
At Cranbrook Art Museum: Our celebration will be a modern twist on traditional Scandinavian practices, featuring art projects that celebrate the longest and darkest night of the year by bringing light and joy.
