To ensure that Cranbrook Art Museum remains a safe, secure, and welcoming place for our visitors, we are closely following the recommendations of the CDC and State of Michigan regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). Our first priority is always the health and well-being of our guests across the entire Cranbrook Educational Community.

What We Are Doing

  • We have instituted deep cleaning measures throughout museum facilities, including extra sanitizing of high-traffic areas, doorknobs, and front desk spaces.
  • We are closely monitoring the latest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and state and local government agencies and responding to recommendations in real-time. We are in discussions daily as the situation develops.
  • We have added signage in our bathrooms to encourage best practices for hand washing.
