SUMMARY:Adult ArtMaking Workshop: Polymer Projects
DESCRIPTION:Join us for artist-led workshops on select Thursday evenings an
 d Saturday mornings. Each two-hour workshop will feature a different artma
 king theme\, drawing inspiration from artwork in our collection. All level
 s of artistic experience are welcome\, as participants are encouraged to e
 xperiment with new materials and creative techniques.  \n\nSelect Thursda
 ys from 5:30–7:30pm\; select Saturdays from 10:30am-12:30pm\, $25 per pa
 rticipant\, intended for ages 16 and up. Pre-registration is required thro
 ugh our website. All materials are provided. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nUpcoming Adul
 t ArtMaking Workshops:  \n\nOctober 22\, 24 – Polymer Projects\nPolyme
 r clay offers endless opportunities for creativity! You can choose which c
 lay projects interest you most\, including magnets\, charms\, mini bud vas
 es\, abstract photo frames\, or a design of your own. \n\nNovember 5 – 
 Block Weaving\nThis relaxing weaving technique focuses on colors and textu
 res. Design a woven composition around a wooden block frame that is ready 
 to hang.  \n\nDecember 3\, 5 – Anna Sui Accessories\nFashion Designer 
 Anna Sui develops unique accessories for each of her collections. Drawing 
 inspiration from decades of her work on view at the museum\, create your o
 wn accessories using a variety of interesting mixed media materials. \n\n
 \nJanuary 21\, 23 – Repurposed Fabric Landscapes\nAnna Sui’s fashion d
 esigns are a testament to the upcycling process\, repurposing fabric to gi
 ve textiles new life.  Design layered landscapes using discarded texti
 les paired with mixed media accents. \n\nFebruary 4\, 6 – Abstract Pain
 ting Books\nExplore abstract painting with a focus on color and mark-makin
 g. Combine your paintings with book arts to create an accordion book with 
 mixed media covers. \n\nMarch 4\, 6 – Make It Mini\nDiving into a minia
 ture world helps change our creative perspectives! Make your own collectio
 n of mini objects to create a curated collection for display.   \n\nApr
 il 15 – Charm School\nThis fun workshop will be nostalgic and inventive\
 , perfect for bringing out your inner child! Refresh your childhood shrink
  art and beading techniques to create unique bag charms and key chains.
