SUMMARY:Adult ArtMaking Workshop: Printmaking: Capturing the Fall Season
DESCRIPTION:Join us for artist-led workshops on select Thursday evenings an
 d Saturday mornings. Each two-hour workshop will feature a different artma
 king theme\, drawing inspiration from artwork in our collection. All level
 s of artistic experience are welcome as participants are encouraged to exp
 eriment with new materials and creative techniques.  \n\n Select Thursd
 ays from 5:30–7:30pm\; select Saturdays from 10:30am-12:30pm\, $25 per p
 articipant\, intended for ages 16 and up. Pre-registration is required thr
 ough our website. All materials are provided. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nUpcoming Adu
 lt ArtMaking Workshops:  \n\nOctober 16\, 18 – Printmaking: Capturing 
 the Fall Season\nExplore the vibrant light and colors of autumn through th
 e process of creating monotypes with gel plates. \n\n November 13\, 15 
 – Clay Creatures: Inspired by the Haas Brothers\nSculpt imaginative clay
  sculptures inspired by the fantastical designs of the Haas Brothers. \n\
 n December 4\, 6 – Scandinavian Holiday Art\nCelebrate the season by cr
 afting festive\, folk-inspired holiday decorations rooted in Scandinavian 
 traditions. \n\nJanuary 15\, 17 – Urban Watercolors: Inspired by Zoltan
  Sepeshy Capture the mood and design of cityscapes with watercolor techni
 ques inspired by Detroit landscapes by  Zoltan Sepeshy.\n\nFebruary 5\, 7
  – I’m With the Band: Punk Art\nChannel the raw energy of punk culture
  to create bold\, rebellious art pieces using mixed media like the artists
  featured in Destroy All Monsters exhibition. \n\nMarch 19\, 21 – Inter
 ior Design: Inspired by Design Icon Florence Knoll\nDiscover the mid-centu
 ry legacy of Florence Knoll and her signature paste-ups. Create your own s
 tylish interior layouts inspired by Knoll’s practices. \n\nApril 11\, 2
 3 – Hand Painted Textiles\nLearn textile painting techniques to design y
 our own work inspired by Ruth Adler Schnee and Alexander Girard. \n\nMay 
 14\, 16 – Printing Posters: Inspired by Graphic Designer Stephen Frykhol
 m\nDesign and print vibrant posters paying tribute to the bold graphic sty
 le of Stephen Frykholm. \n\n
