Dates: June 20, June 27, July 3 (6-8pm)
Learn the ins and outs of fiber arts weaving. You’ll learn basic techniques and terms how to create your own small frame loom, use a small cricket loom, and design a woven wall hangings. Explore a variety of different textures and techniques, experiment with color, pattern and material to create a one-of-a-kind work of fiber art.
Whether you’re new to art or seeking a creative challenge, Adult Summer Classes are an affordable, fun way to hone your creativity or learn a new technique! Learn the fundamentals of weaving or ceramic basics with other art enthusiasts.
Teaching Artist: Rebecca Smith (Fiber 2020)
Each class runs for three Thursday sessions in the Art Lab, and are taught by experienced artists and designers from the Cranbrook Academy of Art.
$125 for all 3 classes / $110 for ArtMembers
Cost includes instruction and all materials. Open to ages 18 and up.
