The Public Lecture series at Cranbrook Academy of Art is a critical and idiosyncratic look into the conversations and inquiry that drives the 11 departments in Art, Architecture and Design.
Each year we kick-off our public lecture series with lectures by our own Artists-in-Residence. We invite the public to join us as they discuss their practice, philosophy and current projects.
On Sept. 19, we will be hearing from:
– Rebecca Ripple, Artist-in-Residence and Head of Sculpture
– Willie Wayne Smith and Martha Mysko, Visiting Artists-in-Residence for the Painting department
This event is FREE.
