DESCRIPTION:The Public Lecture series at Cranbrook Academy of Art is a crit
 ical and idiosyncratic look into the conversations and inquiry that drives
  the 11 departments in Art\, Architecture and Design.\n\nEach year we kick
 -off our public lecture series with lectures by our own Artists-in-Residen
 ce. We invite the public to join us as they discuss their practice\, philo
 sophy and current projects.\n\nOn Sept. 24\, we will be hearing from:\n- S
 cott Klinker\, Designer-in-Residence and Head of 3D Design\n- Gretchen Wil
 kins\, Architect-in-Residence\, Head of Architecture (join us to welcome G
