Drop in and get creative during open Art Lab Afterschool with relaxing, artist-led artmaking. Students can arrive at any time during the open hours period, allowing at least an hour for the artmaking project.
Select Thursdays from 3:30-5:30pm for students in 3rd grade and up. Pre-registration is required, $15 per student. Each participant under 13 must be accompanied to the museum by an adult. During the activity, adults are welcome to explore the rest of the museum.

October 23 – Portraits that Pop
Make bright, bold, and colorful portraits like Pop Artists Warhol and Lichtenstein using silk-screening techniques.
November 20 – Punk Art
Dive into the punk rock art scene to design mixed media art and zines like the artists in Destroy All Monsters!
December 11 – Light Up the Night
Explore the varied ceramic work in our collection as inspiration to create glowing ceramic lanterns that light up your world.
