SUMMARY:ArtLab Afterschool: Shrink Art Charms
DESCRIPTION:Drop in and get creative during open Art Lab Afterschool with r
 elaxing\, artist-led artmaking. Students can arrive at any time during the
  open hours period\, allowing at least an hour for the artmaking project.\
 n\nSelect Thursdays from 3:30-5:30pm for students in 3rd grade and up. Pr
 e-registration is required\, $15 per student. Each participant under 13 mu
 st be accompanied to the museum by an adult. During the activity\, adults 
 are welcome to explore the rest of the museum.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nUpcoming ArtL
 ab Afterschool:\n\nNovember 12 – Shrink Art Charms\nDesign and color you
 r own shrink art and embellish with beading to create unique keychains and
  bag charms. \n\nDecember 10 – Pop-Up Cards\nEngineer a card that inclu
 des a variety of bold pop-up elements that will wow the card’s recipient
 . \n\nJanuary 14\, 2027 – Wild Fashion Accessories\nInspired by Fashion
  Designer Anna Sui\, design accessories to complete your look. \n\nFebrua
 ry 11\, 2027 – Still Life Drawing\nCareful observation is the key to sti
 ll life drawing. Fun drawing exercises and trying new techniques will enha
 nce our realistic drawing skills. \n\nMarch 18\, 2027 – Comics and Char
 acter Design\nDevelop new and inventive characters for a comic book where 
 you have full narrative and design control.
