Join us for an ArtMaking workshop celebrating the Haas Brothers’ beaded Freaks series led by visiting artist Jillian Blackwell (CAA MFA Painting ‘24). The workshop will start in the galleries with an overview of Simon Haas’ method of creating beading patterns using algorithms trained on simple rules that lead to infinite combinations. Then, in the Artlab, each participant will create their own miniature beaded painting.
