DESCRIPTION:Join us to celebrate the opening of our Summer 2025 exhibition\
 , Everything Eventually Connects: Mid-Century Modern Design in the US. The
  exhibition is a large-scale survey of one of the most important and persi
 stent movements of modern design in the United States in the twentieth cen
 tury shines a light on Cranbrook’s pivotal role in its development and t
 he contributions of additional women\, LGBTQ+ individuals\, and designers 
 of color during this period.\n\nNearly 200 works and over 80 artists\, des
 igners\, and architects are featured in this exhibition. A number of the w
 orks have been recently acquired by Cranbrook Art Museum for its permanent
