Join Hindman’s Director of Furniture & Decorative Arts, Corbin Horn, for a discussion of trends in buying and selling at auction today, as well as advice for emerging collectors on living with history, building a meaningful collection and understanding the value of heirloom objects.

Corbin Horn is the Director and Senior Specialist of the Fine Furniture, Decorative Arts, and Silver Department at Hindman.

Mr. Horn joined the firm in 2009, and he has directed hundreds of sales of important collections, including those of Lilly Pulitzer, Lord Anthony and Lady Jacobs, Lars Bolander, and Villa Massei in Lucca, Italy. He has also achieved record results for consignments from institutions, including the Toledo Museum of Art, High Museum of Art, Detroit Institute of Arts, and Minnesota Historical Society. Mr. Horn gives lectures about various topics within the decorative arts to collectors’ groups and social organizations, and he is a member of the Antiquarian Society of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Arts Club of Chicago.
