Join us for a conversation with Cranbrook Art Museum’s Assistant Curator of Collections, Kat Goffnett, to hear about the upcoming exhibition Homebody opening in early 2022. After more than a year in which many people spent at home, this exhibition puts into timely conversation artistic interpretations of home and the complex feelings it evokes, posing questions about what defines home on material, personal, and cultural levels. Additionally, the exhibiting artists and works share a connection to Detroit, granting Homebody a uniquely local perspective.
