DESCRIPTION:Looking for a fun and creative family activity? Join us on the 
 second Saturday of each month for an interactive tour in the museum or Col
 lections Wing Plaza Vault followed by an artist-led workshop!\n\n \n\nOct
 ober 12: Pop Art! Explore Pop Art artists in our collection including Roy 
 Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol. We will create our own pop art silkscreen po
 sters.  \n\nDecember 14: Detroit Design Studio\, we will tour the galleri
 es and create mixed media art inspired by the large-scale work of Charles 
 McGee.  \n\nJanuary 11: Dynamic ceramist Toshiko Takaezu will inspire our
  hand-building clay workshop. \n\nFebruary 8: Mindfulness and art\, this 
 workshop will focus on the artistic process of Neha Vedpathak and Agnes Ma
 rtin to create our own mindful art. \n\nMarch 8: Let’s make some noise 
 with sound suit artist Nick Cave! Our workshop will be a mixed-media explo
 ration of wearable art.  \n\n&nbsp\;\n\n$15 per participant\, intended 
 for families with children 4-12\, pre-registration is required.
