DESCRIPTION:Cranbrook Art Museum will host a free cyanotype constellation-m
 aking activity based on the artwork Finding Freedom by Sonya Clark. Each p
 articipant will create their own constellation fabric square to bring home
  using the sun and seeds. Finding Freedom is on view at Cranbrook Art Mus
 eum until September 24\, 2023\, as part of the exhibition Sonya Clark: We 
 Are Each Other.\n\nBelle Isle Conservancy hosts the second annual Communit
 y Fun Day at the Belle Isle Aquarium featuring an exciting afternoon of ar
 t\, music\, dance\, storytelling\, games and activities\, food trucks\, an
 d more! \n\n A Knight Arts Challenge winner\, the Freedom Arts Festival 
 connects—and reconnects!—Detroiters to their neighborhood parks. Featu
 ring music\, dance\, storytelling\, and art reflecting Detroit’s multicu
 ltural tapestry\, the festival brings together freedom\, racial justice\, 
 history\, and connection to place through arts &amp\; culture.  \n\nThe 
 Freedom Arts Festival is organized by the Detroit Parks Coalition. More in

 ciated with Sonya Clark: We Are Each Other at Cranbrook Art Museum are sup
 ported by the Gilbert Family Foundation\, the Michigan Arts and Culture Co
