SUMMARY:Free Cyanotype Activity - Clark Park
DESCRIPTION:Cranbrook Art Museum will host a free cyanotype constellation-m
 aking activity based on the artwork Finding Freedom by Sonya Clark. Each 
 participant will create their own constellation fabric square using the 
 sun and seeds to bring home.  The artwork is on view until September 24\
 , 2023\, as part of the exhibition Sonya Clark: We Are Each Other.\n\n\
 nSurrounded by historic homes\, schools\, busy shops\, and local services\
 , Clark Park serves as the “town square” of a thriving area in southwe
 st Detroit. It regularly hosts festivals\, concerts\, and special event
 s for the most ethnically diverse community in the City\, while serving 
 as a popular meeting place for family picnics and gatherings. Year-round a
 ctivities are regularly enjoyed by the neighborhood’s youth. \n\n\n\nFr
 ee cider and donuts will be available for workshop participants so please 
 remember to RSVP! \n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPublic programs associated with the 
 exhibition at Cranbrook Art Museum are supported by the Gilbert Family Fo
 undation\, the Michigan Arts and Culture Council\, and the National Endowm
 ent for the Arts.
