DESCRIPTION:Cranbrook Art Museum will host a free cyanotype constellation-m
 aking activity based on the artwork Finding Freedom by Sonya Clark. Each p
 articipant will create their own constellation fabric square to bring home
  using the sun and seeds. Finding Freedom is on view at Cranbrook Art Mus
 eum until September 24\, 2023\, as part of the exhibition Sonya Clark: We 
 Are Each Other.\n\nRed Flower Growers is a small urban farm\, located with
 in the City of Detroit\, Michigan. Their primary mission is to foster self
 -sufficiency by increasing food sustainability\, in underserved and social
 ly disadvantaged communities. They achieve this by supporting and teachin
 g individuals how to grow their own gardens\, harvest and prepare meals fr
 om their crops\; and how to save their seeds in order to reproduce more fo
 od. \n\nPublic programs associated with Sonya Clark: We Are Each Other at
  Cranbrook Art Museum are supported by the Gilbert Family Foundation\, the
  Michigan Arts and Culture Council\, and the National Endowment for the Ar
 ts.
