DESCRIPTION:Every third Thursday\, from July 2023 through June 2024\, visit
 ors can receive free admission to Cranbrook Art Museum from 11am–8pm AND
  Cranbrook Institute of Science from 5–8pm. Cranbrook Art Museum remains
  free on all remaining Thursdays of each month. Visitors are requested to 
 register in advance to visit Cranbrook Institute of Science via their webs
 ite. Walk-ins are welcome\, but entrance is not guaranteed due to capacity
  limits.\n\nThis November\, join us for Free Third Thursday! Explore and e
 xperience art and design through hands-on\, minds-on activities.\n\n&nbsp\
 ;\n\nAt Cranbrook Art Museum at 5pm\, 6pm\, and 7pm:\n\nCollections Wing T
 our: Photography in Focus \n\nOn the occasion of Carl Toth: Reordering F
 ictions –the first museum retrospective to reassess Toth’s legacy in p
 hotography\, join us for a special one-time tour of the Collection’s Win
 g with a focus on our photography holdings\, including a selection of rece
 nt acquisitions to Cranbrook Art Museum’s permanent collection and histo
 ric photographs held in the Cranbrook Center for Collections and Research 
 Archive. This is a self-guided tour\, with Museum and Archive staff and c
 urators on hand to discuss selected artworks.  \n\nFree and open to the 
 public\, but space is limited. Advanced registration is encouraged\, pleas
 e see the below links to RSVP for a 1-hour time slot. The ability to stand

 dern astronomy\, Galileo was also a trained and talented artist.  \n\nFre
 e interactive table activities:\n\nBalancing Birds – Explore the concep
 ts of balance and mass through hands-on activities\, then make an unexpect
 edly balanced bird to take home.\n\nPaper Spinners – Echo Galileo’s e
 xperimental focus by creating simple paper spinners and then adapting them
  to meet engineering challenges.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nFree Third Thursdays is a p
