 l and other material/in-kind resources to support creative work. With Laur
 en Rossi and featured speaker Cézanne Charles.\n\nCézanne Charles is a d
 esigner\, curator\, and researcher with 20 years of experience working at 
 the executive and senior management level within the creative industries i
 n both the United States and the United Kingdom. Her work focuses on the i
 ntersection of design\, technology\, culture\, social justice\, and public
  policy for future making. In 1998 she co-founded with John Marshall the h
 ybrid design studio rootoftwo. Cézanne serves on Design Core Detroit’s 
 Stewardship Board for the UNESCO City of Design initiative. From 2008-2019
  Cézanne also served as Director of Creative Industries at Creative Many\
 , where she designed and led programs that provided the knowledge\, fundin
 g\, networks\, and advocacy needed to help empower the practices of artist
 s\, designers and makers within the state\, with a core focus on Detroit.
