SUMMARY:Lecture: Gina Beavers
DESCRIPTION:Gina Beavers’ work has been presented in solo exhibitions at 
 galleries across the U.S and Europe. In March 2019\, MoMA PS1 opened Beave
 rs’ first solo museum exhibition\, Gina Beavers: The Life I Deserve. Sh
 e has been reviewed in ArtForum\, Frieze\, the New York Times and the
  New Yorker\, among other publications. Beavers holds a BA in Studio Art 
 and Anthropology from the University of Virginia (1996)\, an MFA in Painti
 ng and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2000)\, an
 d an MS in Education from Brooklyn College (2005). She serves as Adjunct F
 aculty at Columbia University where she teaches Grad Studio. She currently
  lives and works in Newark\, New Jersey.\n\nLectures are free and open to
