 ormance rituals\, objects\, and drawings that incorporate his pre-colonial
  Central American ancestry\, personal mythology\, and autobiography. Throu
 gh multidisciplinary\, often collaborative performances and drawings\, Mar
 avilla traces the history of his displacement\, interrogates the parallels
  between pre-Columbian cultures and our border politics\, and how these pa
 rallels are transformed through the process of hybridization.\n\nLectures
