DESCRIPTION:Due to current recommendations regarding the coronavirus\, we h
 ave cancelled OPEN(STUDIOS) for 2020.\n\n\n\nJoin Cranbrook Academy of Art
  on Sunday\, April 26\, 2019\, from 1-5pm\, for their annual OPEN(STUDIOS)
  event. Visitors can tour the Academy of Art’s private studio spaces\, m
 eet with emerging artists and designers from the Academy’s 11 department
 s and purchase student work. This is the only time of the year when the pu
 blic is invited inside the private Academy studio spaces!\n\nOPEN(STUDIOS)
  is a FREE event!\nRegister through Eventbrite (COMING SOON) and also rece
 ive complimentary admission to the following Cranbrook attractions:\n\nCra
 nbrook Art Museum: Tour the 2020 Graduate Degree Exhibition of Cranbrook A
 cademy of Art\, featuring the work of 65 graduating Academy students. Muse
 um educators will also host a Spring Family Day with kid-friendly tours an
 d hands-on art projects from 11am–2pm.\n\nCranbrook Institute of Science
 : Discover the wonder of the natural world and develop a better understan
 ding of the ways in which science impacts our lives each day (paid admissi
 on required for exploreLab\, Robot Revolution\, and the Acheson Planetariu
 m).\n\nSaarinen House: This is the opening day of the historic former hom
 e of Eliel and Loja Saarinen\, the jewel of Cranbrook’s architectural tr
 easures.\n\nCranbrook House: Enjoy an open house at the Arts and Crafts-s
 tyle manor designed by Albert Kahn for the founders of Cranbrook\, George 
 Gough Booth and Ellen Scripps Booth.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThis is the perfect day
  to explore Cranbrook! Check-in at the main event table located outside of
  Cranbrook Art Museum or at any of the participating campus venues for inf
 ormation and maps. Visitors can park at any of the venues on campus and sh
 uttles will also be running from the Kingswood and 550 Lone Pine Road park
 ing lots. The event will be held rain or shine.\n\nThe 2020 Graduate Degre
 e Exhibition of Cranbrook Academy of Art and OPEN(STUDIOS) are sponsored
