OPEN(STUDIOS) is the only time the general public can explore the studios of Cranbrook Academy of Art’s MFA candidates and Artists-in-Residence (faculty).
- Explore the private studio spaces of Cranbrook Academy of Art
- Student art will be for sale
- Receive free admission to Cranbrook Art Museum, Cranbrook House and Gardens, Cranbrook Institute of Science (paid admission required for SUE: The T-rex Experience and the Acheson Planetarium)
- Free self-guided tours of Saarinen House hosted by the Cranbrook Center for Collections and Research
- Free self-guided tours of Cranbrook House.
- Food trucks and hands-on art activities for children
Parking and Transportation
Large parking lots on campus will be available for public parking. Bus shuttles will be available all day to transport visitors to check-in on the Cranbrook Art Museum Peristyle. Parking details will be added as the event approaches.
