DESCRIPTION:Poolside Performance: Drain is an audience interactive audio a
 nd visual experience in celebration of the draining of Cranbrook Art Museu
 m's Triton Pools for the winter season. Artists otodojo and Detroit Burea
 u of Sound will collaborate with Cranbrook Academy of Art's 4D department 
 to present a projection-mapped piece paired with a musical performance.\n\
 nDrain will occur outdoors\, audiences are welcome to bring lawn chairs a
 nd picnic blankets and should be prepared for fall chilly weather.\n\nPlea
 se RSVP using the form below.\n\nDetroit Bureau of Sound\, aka Zac Bru\, i
 s a techno/experimental music composer and strange music evangelist. Fond 
 of  avant garde music and loud PA systems\, Zac’s work is an ongoing fa
 scination with creating 4D sound sculptures\, most often with modular synt
 hs and amplified plant materials. DBS’s work in experimental music has b
 ecome synonymous with the traditions of great experimental composers of th
 e 20th Century such as John Cage\, Pauline Oliveros\, Iannis Xenakis\, alo
 ngside the development of the futuristic electronica known as ‘techno’
  hailing from Detroit.\n\nOtodojo (marokariya.info) is an audiovisual art
 ist who explores sensing within the natural world\, reflections of its cha
 nge\, and presence. With 11 album releases and several digital art collect
 ions under their belt\, they are approaching a sound and vision for interp
 reting environments they visit and embodying the translation of 'otodojo' 
 [a sound place for learning]. They have shown works with Artists for Plant
 s (2021)\, The Soil Factory (2021)\, RED° Tokyo Tower (2022)\, and digita
 l platforms\, including a community built with Ryu Goto\, Otodojo Nodes (
 2022). Their sound work has been released on various labels and acclaimed
