Cranbrook Academy of Art’s 2024-25 Public Lecture Series is free and open to the public at Cranbrook’s deSalle Auditorium. Cranbrook Art Museum is open late and free to all on Thursdays, please arrive early to explore our current exhibitions.

Suryajaya’s photographs are held in major institutions including the Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Contemporary Photography, and The Block Museum. His work has been featured in numerous international exhibitions at Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, Benaki Museum in Greece, Fotomuseum Winterthur in Switzerland, National Library in Singapore, Esker Foundation in Canada, and Aperture Gallery in New York. He’s received awards from prestigious institutions such as Guggenheim Fellowship, Artadia Awards, DCASE Esteemed Artist Award, Aaron Siskind Foundation Award, and Robert Giard Foundation Fellowship. He received an MFA from the SAIC and both a BA and BFA from California State University Fullerton.
