DESCRIPTION:Join Cranbrook Academy of Art at deSalle Auditorium on Wednesda
 y\, November 13 at 6pm for a free public lecture from artist Leung Chi Wo.
  In his presentation\, Leung will explore how his practice is shaped by th
 e narratives embedded within the materials he uses. By playing with both r
 eason and emotion\, he develops an open-ended\, non-conclusive narrative t
 hat transcends traditional modes of representation.\n\nLeung Chi Wo employ
 s a diverse range of mediums—including photography\, text\, found object
 s\, performance\, and installation—to merge historical exploration with 
 conceptual inquiry. His work questions memory\, power structures\, and the
  ambiguities of history. By synthesizing vintage objects\, archival materi
 als\, and imagery\, Leung juxtaposes everyday moments with significant pol
 itical events\, drawing attention to the tension between personal and coll
 ective histories. His research-based practice often probes the fissures an
 d uncertainties in how history is constructed and narrated.\n\nPlease note
