DESCRIPTION:Set\, a series of improvisational performances including music\
 , movement\, and spoken word that directly respond to the exhibition James
  Benjamin Franklin: Full Circle. An energetic call and response across med
 ia\, each performance explores the languages of continuous discovery throu
 gh abstraction and improvisation.  Located within Larson gallery among th
 e artworks\, audiences will be immersed in a visual and auditory expressio
 n of joy\, color\, and introspection.\n\nThe duo wilder/hall is a project 
 of Kaleigh Wilder on baritone saxophone and Ben Hall\, percussionist. RSVP
  for this Set performance using the form below.\n\nBen Hall is a composer\
 , writer\, and organizer. He was profiled by Fred Moten in the book Black 
 and Blur and has written extensively about the visionary percussionist Mil
 ford Graves. He has participated in multiple museum exhibitions including 
 Slow An Alarm Until It's A Tone\, a solo exhibition at the Museum of Conte
 mporary Art Detroit. He is currently working on a feature-length documenta
 ry on the drummer Roy Brooks.\n\nKaleigh Wilder is an improviser and sound
  sculptor. Speaking through the baritone saxophone\, she likes to play fro
 m what she knows in her body—what her hands\, ears\, and inner child rem
 ember. Using timbral extremes that shift between raw and polished\, abrasi
 ve and sensitive\, discomfort and catharsis\, Kaleigh channels her lived e
 xperiences into sound to communicate viscerally. She hopes to amplify in t
