DESCRIPTION: Join Cranbrook Art Associates for a virtual studio tour with 
 Conrad Egyir.  A 2018 graduate of Cranbrook Academy of Art’s Painting D
 epartment\, Conrad is a Detroit based artist who has made a name for himse
 lf since his tenure at Cranbrook.  His many recent accomplishments includ
 e: a solo show at Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit\, the acquisition of 
 his work by Cranbrook Art Museum\, Miami’s Perez Art Museum\, and the JP
 Morgan Chase Art Collection\, among others\, as well as the one of several
  artists featured in Beyoncé’s 2020 album Black Is King.\nArtwork by C
 onrad is currently on display at Cranbrook Art Museum exhibition Shapeshif
 ters: Transformation in Contemporary Art through March 14\, 2021.  He als
 o currently has a virtual exhibition\, Class of 2020: At such a time as t
 his\, which will take place as a physical exhibition in 2021 at UTA Artist
