DESCRIPTION:sold out\n\nPaint wooden vessels designed by Cranbrook Academy 
 of Art 3D graduate Vineta Chugh\, in the graphic style of Alexander Girard
 . Each participant will receive a six-inch hand-turned wooden vase to embe
 llish with colorful geometric shapes and patterns. We’ll take an in-dept
 h look at Girard's colorful wooden figures and their ties to folk art\, be
 fore discussing Chugh’s wood-turned series celebrating differences in th
 e human form. Learn to design and cut adhesive stencils\, mimicking Girard
 ’s designs\, before painting your figures. Each participant will leave w
 ith a painted wooden vase.
