Associate Curator of Education

Cranbrook Art Museum is accepting applications for an Associate Curator of Education. This position engages with students, educators, and families to create impactful museum experiences and fosters an environment of innovation and self-expression amongst Art Museum visitors. An ideal candidate is a resourceful art educator and museum interpreter with endless enthusiasm for working with young artists and families. The Associate Curator of Education will develop, schedule, and facilitate dynamic PreK-12 school visit instruction, family-focused programs, and summer Create Camps. They will manage the museum activities and necessary part-time educators for all scheduled school fieldtrips, artmaking workshops, and other education programs both on and off campus to create meaningful encounters for broad and diverse audiences of all ages.

This is a full-time position with a variable schedule, including weekend and evening assignments.

Compensation: $56,000/year
