Teaching Artist – Create Camps

Teaching Artists for Create Camps lead daily classroom experiences including gallery visits and artmaking activities for classrooms of 16, with one teaching assistant. Teaching Artists must be multitaskers with endless enthusiasm, engaging students and fostering an environment of innovation and self-expression.

Training and time to develop lesson plans in conjunction with museum educators starts in June 2023. 

A typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with longer days Mondays and Fridays; approximately 35-40 hours/week. Camp runs from July 10^th through August 18^th (some flexibility on weeks that are worked).

Rate: $20.25 USD per hour
