Virtual Studio Tour with Conrad Egyir

Join Cranbrook Art Associates for a virtual studio tour with Conrad Egyir.  A 2018 graduate of Cranbrook Academy of Art’s Painting Department, Conrad is a Detroit based artist who has made a name for himself since his tenure at Cranbrook.  His many recent accomplishments include: a solo show at Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, the acquisition of his work by Cranbrook Art Museum, Miami’s Perez Art Museum, and the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection, among others, as well as the one of several artists featured in Beyoncé’s 2020 album Black Is King.  Artwork by Conrad is currently on display at Cranbrook Art Museum exhibition Shapeshifters: Transformation in Contemporary Art.  He also currently has a virtual exhibition, Class of 2020: At such a time as this, which will take place as a physical exhibition in 2021 at UTA Artist Space.  Conrad is represented by Jessica Silverman.
